The Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival, originally scheduled for April 24 – May 2, 2020, is suspended. The annual Festival draws more than 50,000 participants over nine days as we celebrate scientists, engineers, and innovators throughout the Las Vegas Valley. After closely monitoring the recent spread of COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, the Festival organizers and collaborative partners agree that the health and safety of our community is paramount. Therefore, we are following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health authorities by postponing all activities at this time and in the near future.
The Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival team is working with our presenters and partners as we look to future opportunities throughout the rest of 2020.
It is due to the generous and continued support of our sponsors, including Clark County School District, NV Energy, Nevada National Security Site, Wells Fargo, Cox, Republic Services, and the Boulevard Mall, that this will be possible.
The Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival remains dedicated to making science fun, accessible, and engaging, while highlighting the great science taking place right here in Nevada!
